Hi Colin,

My name is Kimberley Lawler (nee Beech) and I'm doing research into family history and found my grandparents are associated with this church.
I know they got married there and my grandfather was buried there and would like to see if I can get exact dates if possible through the church registers/archives.

If you can help me in anyway and would like further information please email me on miss_kym_uk@yahoo.co.uk
or
mzkymuk@googlemail.com

Thanx

Sorry Colin. I did get your email but had a few problems of late. First my phone got broken and my laptop with my family tree stuff died. Need to transfer the info to a new laptop and I'll be able to get the information I need. Sorry for the delay. Will get back to you with what I need as soon as I can.

Please email me at logindavid@hotmail.com

Are images of the Birth, Marriage & Death records of the Saint Mary's Birkenhead, Church online?

If would like to confirm if John & Ellen Jones were married at the St. Mary's Church in Birkenhead.

The 1851 census said that John & Ellen Jones were part of the St. Mary's Parish in Birkenhead. John Jones was born in 1801 and Ellen Jones was born in 1807. I'm also looking for Baptisms and Burials for John & Ellen Jones.

Thank you for your help!

Hi,
I have a funeral card for Charles Povall departed life July 12 1861 aged 72 interred at St Marys church Birkehead (I assume any headstone etc was possibly removed when they built the new dock?). I was wondering if you can confirm this and if he is buried with anyone else or what the plot number or position of the grave would have been as another funeral card for his second wife (Arabella) in 1882 says she was interred at Bebington cemetery.
(sorry if you got this message twice by the way)
Chris

Hi, Charles Povall was buried at St. Mary's Church on the 16th July 1861, No. 1431 in the register of burials. I have no headstone recorded for him.

I noticed that a child Arabella Povall was buried on the 12th May 1888 of 10 Austin Street Birkenhead aged 2 years.Number 1554 in the register of burials.

Other Povall burials are recorded in the registers. Grave plots & positions are not recorded for St. Mary's.

Hope this was of help.
